Finally....Welcome to Cherry Cheesecake Photography!

I have finally gotten my butt in gear...I set up my Cherry Cheesecake Photography Facebook page a year ago with the intentions of taking awesome retro pinup portraits!  Since then I have had my second son, narrowed down my other photography business to specialize only in maternity and newborn portraits and on the back burner was my Cherry Cheesecake Photography business.

I have had tons of ideas floating through my head and now I am ready to put them to print.  With amazing, positive pushing from my good friend Jessica, from http://www.peachcupcakes.com/ , I am now put together dates in my calendar for once a month portrait sessions. Starting in April! Each month will have a certain theme and location.  Each date will have 3-4 appointments available depending on the interest. There will be 1-2 packages to choose from and they will each include hair and makeup.

Right now here is a list of some of the themes for the year:
1. Country Cowgirl (get your boots out) :)
2. Outdoors (picnic basket, beach cruiser bike, possibly a Vespa - fingers crossed) - right now thinking about a Davis location.
3. Reiff's Gas Station in Woodland - http://www.reiffsgasstation.com/ (so many different options here)

4. Studio Backdrops - Indoors at my house with many different props (I hope to have photos up soon)
5. Sexy Homemaker in a fun Retro Kitchen - These were some of my first pin up portraits I took.

6. Replicas - I have a couple of pinup history books that I will be picking three famous poses from to recreate.
7. Old Hollywood Glamour
8. Rockabilly

**Would love to do an old car portrait session...I need to do some more research on year and makes but that would be awesome!  I also would love to some military based...so many fun ideas to choose from! :)

Right now these are the themes that I have been bouncing around.  If you have any suggestions on any of the themes; like location, props, or other session ideas let me know.  Also, if you are interested in the themes above please comment below or email me directly with your email address so I can contact you once the dates are picked.

If the dates that I set up for the monthly theme sessions don't work for you there will also be the option to book your own private session where you can choose your own theme.

Another idea that has been floating through my head is a:
Cherry Cheesecake Party...
Get together your friends for a fun day of hair and makeup and pinup portraits.  Individual and groups portraits with your friends. Also, I will be providing a wonderful Cherry Cheesecake, from Jacqueline's Homemade Cheesecakes, for everyone to share.

My mother owns a business, Jacqueline's Homemade Cheesecakes, and makes wonderful cheesecakes.  So of course I knew I could find a way to incorporate her cheesecakes into my new business venture.

My first post is quite long but it has been fun to finally put my thoughts out there to everyone who has been interested in pin up photography and a fan on my Facebook page!  Thank you for your support!
